Chief is a 17 year old grey welsh/Arabian gelding. He joined the Hidden Stables family in early 2012. Chief is a favorite of students of all ages- he’s a gentleman on the ground and under saddle, and sensitive to his rider’s needs. Although Chief is a medium pony measuring 13.2 hands, he lacks the typical “pony attitude” and is an absolute pleasure for beginner through advanced riders alike.
Skittles is a, 12h, 5 year old quarter x mare who has a lovely attitude and it super fun to ride. She is ridden by our beginners as well our intermediate students.
Joe is a 20 year old bay thoroughbred gelding. Joe joined the Hidden Stables family in the summer of 2014. Although older (or maybe because of his age!), Joe provides his riders with a consistent and fun riding experience both on the flat and over fences. At 16 hands, Joe is the tallest horse in our program, but you wouldn’t know it once on board- Joe collects (shortens his stride) very well, making him feel slow and steady.
